Maintenance mode

Maintenance mode is a server-wide state that Asprova WS enters when the projects stored on the server no longer fit within the active license's limits. This typically happens after a license downgrade or expiry leaves more paid-plan projects on the server than the new license permits.

What happens in maintenance mode

While the server is in maintenance mode:

  • Access to project data is blocked, and the browser shows a maintenance screen.
  • Project management stays available, so an administrator can still delete projects or change their plans.

Getting out of maintenance mode

Bring the server back within its license limits — for example by deleting projects, or changing their plans, so that the number of paid-plan projects fits the license. The server re-checks as soon as you do and leaves maintenance mode immediately once it is compliant.

The limits that matter here are the My Schedule per-plan project limits — see My Schedule plans.
